Water meter relocation services help customers change the location of their clean water meter to suit the new design of their house or building when raising the foundation or constructing roads.
When is it necessary to relocate a water meter?
Customers need to contact GIWACO for meter relocation in the following cases:
- Raising the house foundation or building a new fence or gate causes the clock to be buried deep underground.
- Renovate the building, relocate the main gate or the location of the domestic water storage tank.
- Expand public roads or upgrade the drainage ditch in front of your house.
Water metering safety regulations

Unauthorized interference will violate regulations on the protection of water metering equipment.
Lifting and relocation process

Register for the service: Submit your relocation request online or at the counter.

Technical survey: Surveyors determine the new pipeline route and prepare an estimate of the additional materials needed.

Construction and relocation: Reconnect the pipes, securely position the meter assembly, and apply a new lead seal.

Handover record: Record water meter readings at the time of relocation and handover of management rights to the customer.
